Meet Mrs. Howard
Marilyn Howard has been the teacher at Christian Cooperative Preschool since 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Talented and Gifted Education from Kansas State University. Prior to teaching at CCP, she taught kindergarten, first grade, and gifted education in the public school system.
Mrs. Howard and her husband have two children, (a son and daughter), a daughter-in-law, son-in-law and three grandchildren who continue to amaze her with their imagination and creativity skills. Her daughter attended CCP for three years, so before becoming the teacher she experienced the preschool as an actively involved parent.
Mrs. Howard believes that children need a time to play, a time to learn, a time to create, and a time to imagine. She provides a warm, loving, safe environment that encourages each child to explore and learn in his/her own way.
Meet Mrs. Gostomski
Joan Gostomski has been the 4K lead teacher at Christian Cooperative Preschool since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She has 18 years experience teaching 1st grade and 25 years overall in the education field.
Mrs. Gostomski and her husband have two children: a daughter (and son-in-law who recently welcomed their first child) and a son. Mrs. Gostomski’s interests include reading, listening to music, playing ukulele, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Gostomski believes that children learn best through play. She provides a fun, loving, safe, and nurturing environment. Mrs. Gostomski is excited to be part of the CCP family and is committed to make school a positive experience for each child.
